Alone, she reinvents her own celebration, embarking on paths of beauty, facing fears, and ultimately finding a beach that changes her world.

THE BEACH OF ANIMALS is a dark children's book, entirely illustrated in watercolor. It is inspired by a dream about the feeling of abandonment, the creation of an imaginary universe – or not – capable of leading a girl to wander through mysterious tunnels, encounter peculiar animals, and a beach that transforms her feelings. This work is the author's first produced with resources from the cultural support and incentive program – Cultural Foundation and the Municipality of Curitiba.
